Devin’s diverse background includes 13+ years’ experience as an engineering professional, multi-year experience as an entrepreneur, 8+ years as a historical-educator and even a stint as a Financial Analyst. Devin is the founder, executive coach and trainer at “The STEMpreneur,” an organization that teaches Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to educators and students.
Within this role, Devin coaches executive teams, facilitates managerial skill training and development and acts as a Leadership Consultant.
Devin’s prior experience includes 4+ years at Johns Hopkins University, serving as a STEM education instructional facilitator.
During his 13+-year engineering career at Northrop Grumman (a $30B global aerospace and technology company), Devin made contributions within mechanical, reliability, quality and project engineering. He led large teams and developed many early-career employees. While managing engineers, Devin coached young talent from China, Japan and India, moving through progressive opportunities to reach the position of Manager of Program Management. Throughout his leadership roles, Devin leveraged his expertise on behalf of the Cyber Analytics, Software, Digital and Systems departments.
Devin’s academic credentials include a B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Technology Management, specializing in Project Management. As an Associate Certified Coach, or ACC (certified through the International Coach Federation) Devin also “coached” guests for 8+ years on the topic of Virginian/American history at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the largest outdoor living museum in the United States. Devin has been a passionate life-long educator throughout his career and looks forward to coaching MC candidates, as well.
