Joelle served for 13 years in leadership, human resource and talent management roles within Scripps Health, a $5B national healthcare system recognized as being in the top 10 nationally by US News and World Report. Along with experience guiding large teams, Joelle has managed multi-million-dollar budgets. During her extensive corporate career, Joelle created and managed Talent Development and Career
Development departments, providing career development and academic resources to support this prominent organization’s strategic goals. Her efforts impacted 13,000+ employees in both clinical and non-clinical/ professional functions, including Nursing, Accounting, IT, Project Management, Marketing and Compliance. Joelle also oversaw a Career Resource Center and all internships and externships system-wide, encompassing 2,500+ students and 280,000+ instructional hours annually.
In leading workforce development and talent development programs, Joelle partnered closely with corporate executives to identify and leverage talent through human resources, talent development, career counseling, workforce development, employee engagement, academic partnerships and internship program development.
Joelle received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and her Master’s degree in Education, with a focus on Workforce Development, from the University of Arkansas. Her ongoing professional development includes certificates in coaching, talent management, and career planning, including an ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential from the International Coach Federation. Currently, Joelle consults as a career coach to help individuals discover their strengths and reach their career potential.
