George started the early part of his career in Banking for both Robert Fleming, now part of J.P. Morgan, followed by Merrill Lynch, in both the Asset Management and Private Banking divisions, in London and Luxembourg. This was followed by a career in Recruitment and Executive Search for 12 years, including for Michael Page International.
George has worked predominantly in The Netherlands as well as Belgium and Luxembourg. After a successful stint as a Recruiter for Michael Page International, he was a Partner and then Managing Partner for five years for Boyden Global Executive Search in The Netherlands.
Responding to differing demands, he has refocused his efforts where he felt and identified more of a professional need in exerting his expertise, notably to provide career and remuneration advice. He also sees a need for employers, including HR and management, to be properly advised on how to best retain and maximise their staffing talent. George has dealt with employers ranging from start-ups to blue chip multinationals, including some of the largest European banks such as Credit Agricole, ING, and Commerzbank. Throughout his career George has interviewed, advised and counselled candidates from entry level to executive level.
More recently and having moved to London, George has co-founded a business networking group to help potential business owners become successful entrepreneurs and realising their dreams.
George has a BA in sociology from the University of Westminster and an MA in International relations from the University of Amsterdam. He is also a Professional Certified Coach trained in line with the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
